Presenting author: Underline the presenting author in the list. Provide full name, academic degree(s), institution, address, and email address of the presenting author. The presenting author is expected to attend the meeting and present the abstract. Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered participants. The same person may serve as presenting author on up to 5 abstracts. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
Abstract Title: Limited to 25 words in UPPER CASE. The title should objectively describe the study. Do not refer to study results or conclusions. GUA reserves the right to edit the titles.

Authoring Group Name: Listing a group name is optional. Do not list individual author names in this field. The group name will appear after the last author in the author string. It does not count toward the 20-author limit.
Abstract Body/Table: The abstract body should be short (100–500 words), clear, concise, and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure. Abstracts should be compiled as Word. Mathematical symbols and equations must be typed in, and metric symbols should be used.
Acknowledgement: Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email providing your abstract number. Please refer to this abstract number in all correspondence regarding the abstract. Should you not receive the abstract submission confirmation email within 48 hours, please check your spam folder first and then contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
All submitted abstracts will be forwarded to the Committee for review. Notifications regarding status will be sent once the review process is complete together with the poster presentation rules.
Abstract Presentation: Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during the abstract sessions. The presenters will be required to make a short presentation in front of their poster. The session chairmen will conduct a short discussion of each abstract with the presenter and the audience, for every abstract in the session. The official language of the meeting is English. It is therefore expected that authors are able to present their research more or less fluently in the English language.
