Welcome to GUA-CCA 19 Tbilisi, Georgia
The Georgian Urological Association (GUA) welcomes you to the First GUA – Caucasus/Central Asia Meeting (GUA-CCA19) which will take place on 4 and 5 October 2019 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Dear friends and colleagues,
The Georgian Urological Association (GUA) welcomes you to the First GUA – Caucasus/Central Asia Meeting (GUA-CCA19) which will take place on 4 and 5 October 2019 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
After years of successful cooperation with the European Association of Urology (EAU), the CCA decided to further expand its reach in the region. During the CCA session at the EAU19 Congress in Barcelona, representatives of 8 regional associations decided to organise the first regional scientific meeting in Tbilisi.
With the support of the EAU, urological Associations from various countries will take active part in GUA-CCA19: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The multidisciplinary congress will offer participants a highly-informative and interesting programme. The first day will commence with a session by the European School of Urology (ESU) that will discuss the current management of invasive bladder cancer and principles of urinary derivation.
For the first time in the region, the session of the International Continence Society (ICS) will take place and feature the contemporary management of bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) and male lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).
Majority of the second congress day will be devoted to live surgery. Leading European urologists will perform procedures that will be live-streamed to the venue, and congress participants can interact with and ask the surgeons.
We welcome experts from diverse disciplines such as urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, morphologists, nephrologists, and other healthcare professionals.
On behalf of the GUA, CCA and EAU, we look forward to your participation at the congress. We hope this event will be the beginning of future cooperation among regional countries.
Join us at this important and special event!
